Lead testing & broader screening needs
Why should your lab offer lead testing?
Lead exposure remains a major health concern in the U.S., driving the need for accurate and convenient testing solutions. Reliable lead analysis enables laboratories to support early intervention and deliver high-quality, standardized results for consistent patient care.
Whether you’re looking to implement remote sampling or just need a turnkey solution, Capitainer can support you with both the device and full lab services through our lab miQro.

Blood Lead Microsample Analysis
Our Blood Lead Microsample service provides highly accurate lead testing using the Capitainer B10 device. This assay is developed and monitored under a certified external qualitycontrol program, ensuring reliable and reproducible results.
We deliver quantitative measurements aligned with the CDC reference level of 3.5 µg/dL, making this test suitable for clinical assessment, environmental exposure monitoring, and occupational health programs.
Element Panel Microsample Analysis
For broader screening needs, our Element Panel includes all the features of the Blood Lead Microsample test, plus quantitative screening for four additional toxic metals:
- Cadmium
- Arsenic
- Mercury
- Thallium
This extended metals panel is designed for screening purposes. While it provides valuable insights into potential exposure, it is important to note that no CDC established cutoff levels or external proficiency testing programs currently exist for these four metals. Results should therefore be interpreted as part of a broader clinical or environmental assessment rather than as diagnostic thresholds.
