May 2022 – Capitainer continues to strengthen the distribution network within Europe with a new distribution partner for Spain and Portugal.
Acefesa, founded in 1986 in the province of Barcelona, Spain, is an importer and distributor of a wide range of equipment and consumables for microbiology, molecular biology, blotting and environmental monitoring laboratories. With a large client base that uses Dried Blood Spot (DBS) technology and equipment for neonatal screening, Acefesa has many customers that will be interested in acquiring the Capitainer qDBS system.
We are delighted to get Acefesa onboard as a distributor for Capitainer. Ongoing validation studies show great improvements in accuracy and precision compared to conventional DBS approaches. Acefesa will be the right partner to bring these new insights to the Spanish and Portuguese market and accelerate the implementation of better sampling solutions to improve diagnostic outcomes.
