NEAACC September Meeting
Date 21 September Location Virtual, Zoom
Join an online event and learn more about dried blood versus liquid blood testing in this free event arranged by NEAACC.
Donald Chace, principal scientist at Capitainer and Bradley Collier, Scientist III at Labcorp, will go through aspects to consider when analyzing dried samples like qDBS samples from Capitainer versus traditional liquid venous samples.
“Quantification in dried microsamples requires a different approach than more traditional analysis of liquid microsamples and larger volume samples. The audience will understand how to approach these calculations as well as understand the differences between liquid venous blood and dried blood and how to approach these when performing testing. After participating in this webinar when given a specific gap in clinical patient testing, the participant can assess the requirements for the desired testing and determine an appropriate solution based upon the tools available and the needs of the patient.”
